Riverwind Community Building

The Riverwind Community Building was renovated in 2019 and now features modern decor and amenities, perfect for meetings, parties and more. Two rooms are available for rent, featuring WiFi, tables, chairs, counter space and refrigerators.

Picnic Shelters for Rent

The City of Coon Rapids has several picnic shelters available for rent. Click on each of the links below to learn more about the facilities, pricing information and submit an online request form to see if your event date is available.

Shelters will be available for rent starting May 1, 2021.

How To Reserve a Picnic Shelter

If you know which picnic shelter you would like to rent, submit a Picnic Shelter and Building Online Rental Form to see if your date is available. Once you submit the form, a staff member will get back to you with further information.

Park Buildings for Rent

If you are in need of rental space for a meeting, party, or other event, several building options are available:

Riverview Park Building  and Sand Creek Park Building
*Basic room features tables and chairs
*No air conditioning
*Limited rental availability mid-December to mid-February due to warming house hours. Call 763-767-6522 or email for more information.

Ice Facilities for Rent

The Coon Rapids Ice Center has ice time available for rent. Visit the facility website for more information or call 763-951-7222 for more information. 

Other Banquet/Event Facilities for Rent

Coon Rapids also offers the Coon Rapids Civic Center and Bunker Hills Event Center for large corporate gatherings, weddings, receptions and other events. The Coon Rapids Ice Center offers a conference room, skybox and training rooms for smaller events. Visit each facility website for more information and rental price guidelines.
